Bee
I just accepted an offer of BCC as firm for children's nursing, starting in september. I also applied for accomodation, putting stamford street 1st, great dover street 2nd.

Anyone do nursing, and if so, could you tell me when I get to apply for the NHS trust I want? I really want Guys and st Thomas's, but I bet everyone does!

I can't wait to go, as London is definatly the best place to be a student - I'm sure!

i don't do nursing but i put down stamford st & great dover as my top 2 choices & applied for accom early but ended up at king's college hall. however, if you end up there king's college hospital is literally around the corner.

I'm hoping that they'll take account of the extended nature of nursing courses, and therefore give me accomodation at stamford street, but i doubt it, sadly. I wouldn't want to go to KCH, as I want to be self-catering, but you never know. And as I may well end up at Kings hospital, that wouldn't be such a bad thing!

yeah i think it's kind of a random selection. if you get kch it isn't that bad, i was essentially worried about it but the social life is AMAZING!

hi there! I am First Year Nursing Student. I cannot remember quite well but as I recall you will receive a letter asking you to choose the trust. Otherwise it will happen during introduction day. I have got Guys and St.Thomas' and I remember myself really worried to get it;) Good luck!

all places sort of good. It cool to see Big Ben out of ward's window. The place itself depends on your mentor and your abilities to get along. I am doing Adult, so I am not sure regarding Child. But all our group' students doing child didn't leave the course ;)
