Hello! I am planning to study abroad here in the fall.

I was wondering are there any International Relations/War Studies courses any of you could recommend? Thanks!

Hello, I am a high school sophomore from northern Utah and I'm planning on applying to King's College come senior year for law.  What kind of grades/qualities does a King's College student have?

Hi! I'm a high school senior from North Carolina in the US hoping to study Law at KCL come September. I've firmly accepted a conditional offer, so I'm hoping I'll meet the conditions.

Other than the information KCL has sent me regarding the size and facilities available at each residence, I don't know much about them. The important details are left out! It's nice to know that I'll have wifi and a single room, but can anyone tell me what the environment is like at the residences? I've read posts further down about King's College Hall and Hampstead. If anyone has information about the pros and cons of any of the others, I'd appreciate it! As an overseas student, I'm completely clueless so any information would be great. I don't think I want to randomly pick where I'm living for the next year based on a picture in a brochure.

Hi everyone! I'm a second year undergrad history student studying at King's during my year abroad from U.C. Berkeley in the states. Next year, I will be taking two survey-ish classes (British and Euro history), which I understand are primarily for first year students. What size do these classes tend to be and how are they structured? Is it easy to access professors and lecturers for questions and general concerns?

Also, I've been placed in the Latin reading class (LR01) for the year. I am currently in my second semester of beginning Latin in the states, and will finish the basic grammar textbook by the end of the year. Will this be enough preparation? Is there anything I can do in the meantime to practice? (I'm having nightmares about walking into the class and everyone speaks Latin. Unfortunately, my vocabulary only allows for conversations like, "I killed the queen in the field with a sword." "Was your sword larger than hers?" "Yes, it was a big sword." Needless to say, I wake up in a cold sweat.)

Thank you so much!

Bee
I just accepted an offer of BCC as firm for children's nursing, starting in september. I also applied for accomodation, putting stamford street 1st, great dover street 2nd.

Anyone do nursing, and if so, could you tell me when I get to apply for the NHS trust I want? I really want Guys and st Thomas's, but I bet everyone does!

I can't wait to go, as London is definatly the best place to be a student - I'm sure!

hello, my name is Natasha & I am coming to King's next week to do History. I'm going to be living in King's College Hall, is anyone else from here going to be living there? Also, can someone tell me more about these halls, what is the transport like? I heard they were in an unsafe area but I'm not sure if that is true or not. Kind of annoyed though, I applied for accomodation in January & it was my last choice! oh well.
